Previously, Mr. Shah was the Founder & CEO of Clutch Group, named on the Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing companies in America and ranked as a top provider of legal, risk and compliance solutions by industry authorities including the New York Law Journal, NelsonHall, Chambers Global, Frost & Sullivan and Dun & Bradstreet. Mr. Shah currently serves as the Chairman of Yuva Unstoppable, a premier youth movement that has mobilized 150,000+ volunteers impacting the lives of 500,000+ underprivileged children in the municipal schools, slums and orphanages across 32 cities of India. It has transformed 800 impoverished municipal schools by improving physical infrastructure and access to facilities. Yuva won support and commendation from leading figures such as Narendra Modi (Prime Minister of India) and APJ Kalam (former President of India), and was awarded the Prince's Prize for Innovative Philanthropy by HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco. Nora currently serves as a public board director of Ericsson, Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), and Talend Software. She is a member of Ericsson’s Technology and Science Committee, chair of AMD’s Compensation Committee and a member of Talend’s Audit Committee. Prior public board service includes Overland Storage, Outerwall and Saba Software She served as the interim CEO of Redbox in 2015 after having retired in 2012 from Intuit (the makers of TurboTax and Quicken Loans) where she was the Senior Vice President of Big Data. Prior she was a key senior executive at HP Enterprise (HPE) who ran three large technical divisions in her tenure: Enterprise Software, Computer Storage and HPE’s Consulting Division. She was the Senior Vice President of Product Operations at Legato Systems, a software company which was bought by Dell EMC. She began her career as a software engineer at IBM and held various technical, marketing and executive positions there. She is currently the Vice Chairman of the Anita Borg Institute, a non- profit organization dedicated to increasing the number of women in computing. She holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Santa Clara University. In 2012 CIO Magazine named her as one of the 10 leading women in technology, and Business Insider named her as one of the top 25 women engineers.
James Bates is an accomplished CEO, entrepreneur, and board member who has led successfully executed high-growth plans for a number of technology companies. Presently, James is Chairman, CEO and Founder of AdviNow Medical (ANM), the world’s first Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Augmented Reality (AR) driven automated medical visit system. James conceptualized the vision, wrote the patents, raised the capital, recruited the team, and launched the company. Today, ANM leads the world in medical automation. Previously, James led the turnaround of a $1 Billion revenue group at $10B revenue Freescale/NXP to record gross / operating margins and technology leadership in self driving vehicle technologies. James as an officer, gained extensive experience with both public and private equity ownership structures and has extensive international experience living in Asia for 12 years and fluent in Japanese. James is active with The National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), and is available for select Board of Directors engagements. James began his career researching imaging algorithms for the Microwave Earth Remote Sensing Lab where he advanced high definition radar images and published multiple papers on radar algorithms. He was recruited to Bell Laboratories where his accomplishments included research and development of the world’s first integrated digital mobile chipset and the Sirius/XM radio system while in Japan. His success was rewarded with oversight of Marketing for Lucent’s Asia region, where his responsibility grew to encompass 6 product lines and $120M in revenue. James was attracted by the opportunity to found the Asian Operations for the start-up Silicon Laboratories, where he took the area from zero revenues and no employees, to near $400 million in total region revenues managing over 200 professionals. His first turnaround opportunity was presented by Maxim Integrated, where he took essentially a stagnant, low performing operating unit, to a vibrant entity leading the IOT revolution with components built into Apple’s iWatch, and Samsung’s smartphones. Most recently, after studying the operating barriers in the Urgent Care market, he envisioned a completely automated medical visit experience, where artificial intelligence and augmented reality technology enables physicians to deliver end-to-end patient care in minimal time and cost. James designed the system, secured the patents (12), built the business plan, recruited the team, and raised the capital.James serves on the Board of AkosLive, LLC (dba Akos Urgent Care) a futuristic healthcare services company with primary, urgent and multi-specialty clinics expanding nationwide. James is a board adviser for multiple revolutionary companies like San Jose based Sophatar, an AI driven automated advertisement company that pioneered personalizing the in-store shopping experience to match the online experience. James advises the board at View Dynamic glass, as they enhance their revolutionary automated tinting windows to include sensors and Artificial Intelligence to make automated buildings more affordable and intuitive James is anxious to contribute to Management Teams with his visionary capability to utilize new and emerging technologies to gain competitive advantage while delivering best in class operational performance. James earned his Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, with an emphasis in Electromagnetics, from Brigham Young University.
